What a Florida CPA actually costs

Most accounting firms make you book a call before they will name a price. We publish ours. Answer a few questions about your entity type, revenue, states, rentals and K-1s, and this tool returns a real starting figure on screen. These are the same questions we would ask you on a call, answered in about two minutes.

Starting prices shown. A fixed quote is issued in writing after we review your documents.

How pricing works

What actually drives the number

Most firms will not explain how they price, which makes every quote feel arbitrary. Ours is not. The tool above asks the same questions we would ask you on a call, and each one maps to real work. Here is what moves the figure.

Tax preparation

Your entity structure and how the business is taxed. Your filing status. How many state returns you expect to file. How many Schedule K-1s you will receive. How many rental properties you own. Whether you had independent contractor income. Whether you own your home.

Bookkeeping

Gross revenue last year. How often you need the books updated. How many connected accounts we maintain. Whether you are on a cash or accrual basis. Whether you need inventory tracking.

Outsourced accounting

How many bills you pay each month. Whether you need accounts receivable support, sales tax support, payroll support, or systems integration work alongside it.

Payroll

How many employees are on payroll. How often you run payroll. How many states you run payroll in. How many 1099 contractors you pay.

Fractional CFO

Scope and cadence. Senior finance judgment is priced to the rhythm you actually need it, not to a full-time salary.

Entity formation

What structure you are forming, and the elections that go with it.

What each engagement covers

Pick any combination in the tool above. Most clients start with one and add others as the business grows.

Tax Preparation

Individual and business returns, filed and planned for.

Tax Advisory

Proactive strategy work, scoped and quoted to your situation.

Bookkeeping

Monthly close, reconciliations and financial statements.

Outsourced Accounting

Payroll, bill pay, AR, sales tax and the workflows around them.

Fractional CFO

Senior finance leadership without a full-time hire.

Payroll

Full-service processing, filings and year-end forms.

Entity Formation and Setup

Formation, elections and the documents that make it hold up.

One-time assessments

Some engagements start with a scoped piece of work before the recurring relationship begins. These are quoted as one-time fees and appear in the tool above when they apply.

Strategic tax assessment$1,500
Outsourced accounting assessment$1,500
Fractional CFO assessment$2,500
Bookkeeping cleanup assessment$750
Payroll setup or mid-year migration$750

One-time fees are excluded from the Best Price Guarantee below.

The price you see is our best price

We publish our pricing instead of negotiating it, so you are not paying more than the next client for the same scope. If you already hold a written quote from another licensed U.S. CPA firm for comparable work at a lower price, we will beat it by 10%.

Prices shown in the tool are starting figures. A fixed quote is issued in writing after we review your documents, and the fee does not move once it is agreed.

Best Price Guarantee terms
  • A price beat requires a competing quote in writing, dated within the last 30 days, and issued by a licensed U.S. CPA firm.
  • Scope must be comparable: same returns, same entities, same deliverables, same cadence, same level of advisory access.
  • The 10% is calculated against the competing quote and applies to the first 12 months of the engagement.
  • Verification happens before the engagement letter is signed. The discount is not applied retroactively.
  • Not combinable with other discounts, referral credits or promotional pricing.
  • Excludes one-time assessments and any work quoted as a custom scope.
  • Philip Andrew CPAs + Advisors reserves the right to decline an engagement that cannot be delivered at professional standards for the quoted price.

Questions before you commit?

The tool gives you a number without a conversation. If you would rather talk through scope first, book a time or send a message. You will be speaking to the CPA who would do the work.
