About the firm

A CPA firm run by the CPA you actually work with

Philip Andrew CPAs + Advisors is a Florida firm serving owner-operated businesses and the people who run them. Tax, bookkeeping, payroll and CFO work, under fixed fees quoted in writing.

Why the firm exists

Most business owners meet their accountant once a year, in the spring, to be told what they owe. By then every decision that could have changed the number has already been made. The work is accurate and it is far too late to be useful.

That is not a competence problem. It is a structural one. Hourly billing makes clients hesitate before asking a question, so problems go unmentioned until they are expensive. Files get handed to preparers the client never meets. And almost nobody in the profession will name a price without a call whose real purpose is to size you up first.

This firm was built to do the opposite of all three. We publish our prices. We quote fixed fees in writing. And the CPA whose name is on the door is the one reading your file.

Philip DiMartino, CPA

Philip is a Florida licensed Certified Public Accountant. He works with business owners across healthcare, e-commerce, professional services, real estate and content creation, along with the high-income individuals behind them.

The firm is deliberately structured so that you work with the CPA directly. Your file does not get passed to a preparer you never meet, and your questions do not go into a support queue. That structure is only possible because the mechanical work is automated, which is why the technology choices below are not incidental.

How we work

The stack is the reason the service works

Automation here is not about doing less. It is about moving the human hours to the part of the job that needs a human.

  • Live data instead of month-old statements. Bank and card feeds, automated rules and connected payables mean the ledger reflects this week, not last quarter.
  • Fewer hands on the mechanical work. Every manual re-key is a chance to introduce an error. Automating entry is an accuracy decision before it is a speed one.
  • Time redirected to judgment. The hours not spent on data entry are the hours available for planning, review and actually answering your questions.
  • One stack we manage, not five you do. QuickBooks Online, Ramp, Bill.com and Gusto, configured and maintained by us. You should not have to become an administrator of your own accounting system.
  • Closing on a schedule, not on request. A fixed monthly cadence with a CPA review at the end of it, so the books are ready before you need them rather than after you ask.
  • Documentation that already exists. When a lender, a buyer or an examiner asks, the support is there because it was captured as the work happened.

What we care about

Six things, and they are not decoration. They are the reasons we make the operating decisions we do.

Communication

You get answers in plain English and you get them quickly. If an explanation only makes sense to another accountant, it is not finished.

Teamwork

Your tax, books and payroll are handled by one team that talks to each other, so nothing falls in the gap between them.

Ownership

If something is wrong, we say so and we fix it. We do not deflect and we do not quietly bill you for our own mistake.

Family

Most of our clients are family businesses. The decisions they bring us affect households, not just balance sheets, and we treat them that way.

Continuous education

Tax law changes every year. Staying current is the job. It is not a differentiator, it is the baseline.

Trust

Fixed fees in writing, no surprise invoices, and no billable-hour meter running while you decide whether a question is worth asking.

Who we work with

Owner-operated businesses, typically between $500,000 and $10 million in revenue, and the owners themselves.

Whether you are two founders who just formed an LLC or a practice with fifty employees across three locations, the work is the same in kind: get the books right, structure the entity correctly, plan the tax before year end, and explain all of it in language you can act on.

We are not the biggest firm and we are not trying to be. We are the firm where the CPA whose name is on the door is the one reading your file.
